Special Need - Start Up Fund

Our date is set to go to Portugal. We are so excited. As we finish the milestone of completing deputation, our minds go to the setup costs. I was amazed as we sat down and started listing all the needs involved. To get started in Portugal, we will need to purchase airline tickets, buy a car, pay Realtor and initial housing setup fees, buy furniture, pay visa fees, pay for language school, and much more.

We have been able to set aside some of our love offerings through deputation, and once we sell our car here, we will be able to put quite a bit towards these needs. We estimate our remaining need will be around $48,000. It is a daunting task, but I know God will meet this need too. Please reach out to me if you have any questions or would like to help with a specific need. Would you pray about helping us get to Portugal?

  • November 10 - Send Off Service at First Baptist Church in Plattsmouth, NE

Thank you for all you are doing to help us take the gospel to Portugal. Without your support and prayers, we could not go.

What to pray for:

  • Guidance through our survey trip. That God would lead us to the neighborhood that he would have us live in.

  • Favor and wisdom as we go through our visa process.

  • For God to be working in the hearts of the Portuguese people.
