May-June Update
Great Provision
Hope you are having a great summer.
God has been so good to us on our journey. These past couple of months have been especially encouraging as we have had churches reaching out to us almost every week to partner with us. It's incredible to look back to this time last year when we were just starting our journey and feeling a little nervous and anxious. We weren't sure if we would even have the opportunity to visit any churches, let alone find partners. But now, a year later, we have seen God work in amazing ways. We are currently at 56% support, and beyond that, we have a FULL schedule for the fall. We have been told that deputation is a time when God strengthens our calling and provides confirmation for His calling in our lives to Portugal.

A Time of Rest and Encouragement
The last couple of months have been wonderful because we have had more meetings close to home, allowing us to spend time with our family and friends. There's nothing quite like sleeping in your own bed.
One thing that has been particularly encouraging is that we have had the opportunity to visit three churches this year where we were their very first missionaries. We always enjoy being with new believers and witnessing their excitement. These situations were particularly enjoyable as we saw their anticipation and enthusiasm for missions.
What’s Next
We are grateful for a little rest this summer because we won't be getting much of it come August! We will hit the road in mid-August and won't return home until Thanksgiving. It's going to be a busy period, but we are thankful for the full schedule God has provided for this fall, which is an answer to our prayers. Please pray for our safety as we travel, and also pray for our boys who will be at home during that time. They have been great throughout this process, and while we will be able to include them in some of our travels, they will spend a lot of time at home. We ask for prayers that God will protect them physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
